Strong, compelling women as many of the main characters is kind of my thing, because let's face it... the whole knight in shining armor cliché has been overdone long enough. I felt it was long overdue that the girls got the spotlight, and the ones who have stepped forward thus far to have me tell their stories can certainly take care of themselves! They're not standing behind their male counterparts, they're standing beside them... and often a step ahead of them.
