Scott Gallagher was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His book of meditations Words of Wisdom: a Thinker's Palette (1st published by HarperCollins) has garnered many excellent reviews, and continues to sell worldwide. He is the author of the "semi-autobiographical" novel Dancing Upon the Shore and the instruction booklet: The Happy Dog Manual: Nine Easy Steps for Creating the Ideal Pet(ASIN: B004ZR0JHS). His latest work—October, 2011—is The Second Revelation. Mr. Gallagher lives in California with his son, and their border collie.
