Scott Rose is a software developer, motivational speaker, and Mensa member who loves writing comedy stories and performing both improv & scripted comedy onstage. A self-proclaimed world traveler, he has spent much of his life exploring unfamiliar places. He has lived in 7 cities and has visited 49 countries plus 42 U.S. states—with even more to come. He currently resides in Jacksonville, Florida, although he may have moved by the time you read this, as he continues his pursuit of curiosity and adventure. In the early 2000s, Scott traveled across the United States with the Apple executive team as one of Apple’s top professional speakers, and in 2013, Scott went viral with his hit comedy video series "Shit Apple Fanatics Say", which received over 3 million views. His mother, Esther Glickstein Rose, famously named the Big Mac for McDonald’s—though Scott now only eats the patties because he is living the keto lifestyle. About the creation of "Saving Larry's Hairline": Scott Rose and Ernie Brandon became friends while performing improv comedy together in Hollywood. One day, Scott noticed the very beginnings of his hairline receding, when suddenly the book’s title popped into his head. He pitched the title to Ernie and asked if he wanted to collaborate on a story based on it. Ernie agreed, and the pair developed the story through countless drafts, late-night discussions, and a noticeable increase in hair loss.
