I am one of those lucky people that have done many things on my voyage through life, including ten years as a pilot in the United States Army flying helicopters (where I met my wife, we celebrate our 20th year married this November). After the military, I worked as an operations leader for a manufacturing facility and a regional sales manager for a distribution company. We have a 12-year-old daughter that is pretty sure that she is in charge (my wife and I are basically along for the ride). We have 2 cats (one of which is free to a good home...I tease). We call the Pacific Northwest home. My love of reading led to my passion for writing. I hope that I never think of my journey as a writer complete to the point that I stop continuously trying to improve the craft. I attend conferences often to be surrounded by other writers and to learn how they do their magic.
