An Uneasy Alliance

The war is over. Peace has at last descended over the humanity . . . or so it would appear.
The Centaurs may no longer pose a threat, but a new war is on the horizon, though it hides in the shadows of two empires.
Rumors of alien tech have set governments against each other, and with attention focused on defeating the Centaurs, criminal elements have gotten their tentacles firmly entrenched in the very fabric of civilization.
Staff Sergeant Rev Pelletier of the Perseus Union Marine Corps has now been assigned to the Home Guard, the elite unit made up of members from each military force in human space.
A new age is upon us. An age of exploration, treaties, and new enemies. But with tensions rising, can the Home Guard function as a viable, unified force to combat the growing lawlessness throughout the galaxy?

A Broken Alliance
2021
With the war against the Centaurs won, is a lasting peace finally at hand?
Staff Sergeant Reverent Pelletier has been attached to the Congress of Humanity’s Home Guard, tasked with keeping the home system safe.
Old rivalries and new enemies threaten the alliance, despite the counsel general’s mission to ensure humanity doesn’t fall into their old ways of conflict and war.
It’s a noble cause, but can humankind break the scourge that has affected them since they emerged from the trees? Has the war with the Centaurs that almost wiped humanity from existence taught them anything?
Experience says it is unlikely, but still, anything is possible.

The MDS and allies have withdrawn from the CoH, and they now want to become the center of gravity for humankind.

With the alliance undone, Rev must fight a seemingly unwinnable war.
But Marines never quit. They never falter. They never give up.
Humanity is about to experience a pivotal turning point in its history—one that will culminate in a discovery so profound that it may very well change everything.

What Lies Behind
2022
A new alien threat arises. A Galactic War unlike any before it.
A powerful enemy threatens not only humanity, but humankind’s former enemy, the Centaurs. A warrior race, the Naxli, consider themselves the rightful rulers of the galaxy, and all other life should be either enslaved or destroyed. Still, the Naxli are honor bound, only willing to face those who present a worthy challenge. They recognize strength and nothing else, so it is with strength that humanity must fight back.
Faced with an implacable enemy, distrust within his own government, and a deep-seated fear within the populace of augmented soldiers, Rev and his fellow hyper-augments must carefully balance a tightrope if they are going to save humanity against this enemy.
Now is not the time for second guesses, political hyperbole, or weakness. Humanity must stand and fight together or risk losing all that they've gained.

United We Kill
2022
Humankind is under the gravest threat in its history.
The enemy Naxli keep advancing, taking humans prisoner and destroying human worlds. But this isn’t the Naxli’s first rodeo, and humanity is not alone.
Other races have suffered at the hands of the enemy, and they’ve proposed that humanity join them and present a united front to defeat the Naxli once and for all.
The Congress of Humanity deploys the First Human Expeditionary Brigade to join with the alien military to take the fight to the Naxli. But with seventeen known “allies,” all with different goals and perspectives, how can they form a unified, integrated fighting force? It’s been hard enough for humans to cooperate throughout history, and now the problem has just logarithmically increased.
Still, a mission is a mission, and Gunnery Sergeant Reverent Pelletier, Perseus Union Marine Corps, is going to do what he can to create an effective fighting unit, even if he has to beat in some alien heads to get it done.

But the Naxli aren’t pausing to give the allied races time to work out the kinks, which means it's time for humanity to go at it alone once again. Bureaucracy must wait while Marines do what Marines do best.
Besides, humanity owes the Naxli a few paybacks, even if the rest of the allied races are not willing to join the mission.
