After a stint in college, I realized that spending my life climbing the corporate ladder terrified me, and quickly turned to what I love most; painting and writing (my degree has nothing to do with either). I am a lover of nature and science, and the universe is both on a grand scale. Which, along with many a night spent staring at the night sky, are what truly inspire me. My work, both written and painted, tries to reflect that. That and my personal struggle to understand what it all means...life, existence, the universe...or even if it means anything at all except as a beautiful entity meant to observe itself.
