Shariful Hasan hails from Mymensingh, Bangladesh. He has spent his childhood by the banks of Brahmaputra river. He completed his Masters in Sociology from University of Dhaka and is currently working in a renowned private organization. Shariful's first novel was published on 2012 titled Sambhala. With two other books, this captivating fantasy trilogy has received widespread acclimation both within and beyond the borders of Bangladesh. The Sambhala Trilogy was translated in English and published from India. Although his inception consisted of fantasy and thriller, he has later worked on a variety of other genres. These works have been received fondly by the Bangladeshi reader community. Lot of his works have also been published from different publications in West Bengal.
