I spent my childhood and early adolescence in the mountains of Washington State. We lived next tothe ski areas on Snoqualmie Pass. At sixteen, I was writing a weekly sports column and racing bicycles. I entered the Benedictine Monastery in Mission, BC Canada. This was a great opportunity to get a fine education and spend as much time as I could skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering. All of those formative years informed who I am as an adult and a writer. I love the written word and the outdoors, and my writing reflects that. I chose Naropa University in Boulder for my MFA because it has such a great academic reputation and the atmosphere is perfect for year round outdoor activity. A re-publication of my novel "Cast the First Stone" will be available in e-book format soon. My novel "Rogue Scion" the first in my Grady Marcs thriller series, was released in December, 2015. The sequel to that, Double Cross, is scheduled for an October 2016 release. Stay tuned!
