Shawson lives in Monroe, Louisiana with his wife Nichole and his two adorable huskies, Jack and Anne. He has four kids: Kim, Katy, James, and April. He is a retired Army Sergeant who earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems in 2007 from Louisiana Tech University. He is currently employed with a Fortune 500 telecommunications corporation as a Systems Analyst and Web Developer. Beneath a Winter Moon is his first novel, but he plans on writing more.
