
An Atlanta native, a former international model and CEO of Shelissa Organics, moved to Hawaii to start her family and while living on the island became inspired to write I WISH. Shelissa is a graduate of The University of Maryland and studied at Harvard University in Cambridge. Shelissa and her creations have appeared on television on shows such as The Today Show; The Ellen Show; NBC. Shelissa's work with charities has been featured in magazine and online in outlets including USA Today, Marine Spouse Magazine, The Knot, Huffington Post, AOL, InStyle, Shefinds.com, Parents Magazine, and Brides.com, among others. In the corporate space, Shelissa has worked with national brands such as Steer, Goldwell, Head Tennis, PGA Tour, and more. She resides in Washington, DC metropolitan area with her husband, retired Marine Colonel Gerry "Fancy" Kearney, their son and their two dogs. Havanese Badgley.
