SHIFT
2011
When Leah’s inability to control her new-found skill nearly sends her into a full blown shifter-tantrum in front of the entire high school, even she has to admit that the last week of school is no place for a new shape-shifter. Keeping her new, unpredictable shape-shifting skills a secret is paramount, so Leah agrees to spend her summer vacation with her eccentric Aunt Cecelia, a fellow shifter who lives in the deserts outside Tubac, Arizona. Begrudgingly at first, Leah learns what it means to be a shifter, discovering that, in nature, her kind is not as rare as she first thought. While coming to terms with her new identity and learning to control her skills, she meets the son of her Aunt Cecelia’s life-long friends. But Drake King is different from other boys, and not just because he is a shifter. When cornered by a pack of wild dogs one night in the unfamiliar desert, Drake reveals an additional, extraordinary gift that saves Leah’s life. Amidst rumors of rogue shifters who have broken their oath and revealed themselves to the public—threatening the tenuous new life Leah has just begun to love—she and Drake embark upon a journey that will redefine them as individuals and forever solidify them as a pair.

RECAST
2011
I thought saying goodbye to Drake was the worst thing that could ever happen… That was until the world watched a vampire drain a reporter live on national television. A vampire. I thought shifters were the only creatures that shouldn’t exist. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, a shifter steps onto the screen next—and turns my life upside down. Tubac is a lot less fun when you’re on the lam. More shifters than I’ve ever seen have arrived and my aunt has taken charge of them all. She warns me that the others can’t know about my connection with Drake, but I don’t understand why. Our connection is the one thing keeping me grounded… reminding me of who I am with or without these “gifts” that are once again starting to feel like a curse. As tension among the shifters grows, Drake and I are forced down a path neither of us wants. A path that makes us question everything—even each other.

DRIFT
2012
Sleeping next to vampires wasn’t on my five-year plan. Then again, neither was going on the run. I was doing fine on my own until government agents started tailing me through Seattle. Then a vampire—sorry, civilized immortal—named Topher up and rescued me. Now I’m staying with the immortals running “daylight errands” while Drake is on his way. Topher said he’d keep me safe until then, but even with nowhere else to go, I’m not sure I can trust an immortal’s promise. But right now I don’t have a choice because I think something might really be wrong with me. I can’t sleep, or eat. And I keep waking up in two places at once—like I can see my room in the vampires’ house through one eye, and somewhere I don’t recognize with the other. I only know one thing. Drake cannot get here fast enough.

STAND
2014
All I wanted was Drake to myself. And now I have him… and his seven-year-old cousin… and possibly depression. I guess that’s expected when you’re forced to pretend everything is normal when, in fact, nothing is normal at all. Even Drake and I playing at being happy university students is turning into a nightmare. Our families are still behind bars, we’re running out of money, Drake is hiding something from me, and if I fail this midterm I might just lose it. Then Cecelia’s face shows up on the news and the Mythological Affairs Committee demands to speak with me. The timing couldn’t be worse, but when we meet with the committee, bad timing is the least of our worries. Neither of us are prepared for something like this… or for what we’ll have to do to make it right.
