Dutch poet and pro-cannabis activist. Vinkenoog grew up in Amsterdam as an child of a single mother. Vinkenoog himself has married 6 times. At the age of 21 he started to work for the literature magazine Blurb as an editor. Late he published an one-man- magazine from Paris where he lived for 8 years, 7 years working for Unesco. In 2004 Vinkenoog was voted as "Poet of the fatherland" in the Netherlands.
