S.J. Lee was born and raised in the West of Scotland and educated at Strathaven Academy and Bell College. He started writing after being inspired by the games he played in his teenage years, starting with several short stories based in his favourite fictional worlds as a hobby for his and his friends enjoyment. Eventually he created his own mythos inspired by the games and movies he had always enjoyed, with dreams that one day someone will be inspired by his stories the way he was by other creators.
