Born and raised in sunny South Africa, my travels took me firstly to England and then to New Zealand, where I settled for 10 years. Upon return to England with my husband and two boisterous sons, I left the corporate world behind and took on the new adventure of being a stay-at-home mum. It was during this time, at the age of 37, that I summoned the courage to do what I have loved to do since teenagehood – to write, to bring the characters in my head to life in the form of a first novel, which I had started 10 years ago but never finished. In my spare time, I love to bake for my family, read, and of course, submerge myself in the creative pool of bringing characters to life and threading narratives together.
