The Obsidians are coming... all that stands between them and chaos on Earth is a group of shapeshifters. During the day, Team White Star patrols the forest surrounding the Arch in their deer-form. Dark forces, known as Obsidians, threaten to spill over into the human world, and their followers in the human realm are working to open the portal from the other side. But travel from Inswandi is impossible without a Sleep Drifter to open the portal—and Camden has found one. Kylie is a Sleep Drifter, though she doesn’t know it. Her power speaks to her as she sleeps, and more often than not, Kylie wakes up in the forest. Camden has sworn to protect her, but the Obsidians are not the only ones looking for Kylie. Drifter Hunters, Camden’s trusted advisors and people he has known his entire life, are also looking for her. Drifter Hunters want Kylie dead, Obsidians want to use her, and Camden may have met his fated mate.
