An award ceremony at Jen’s bookstore leads to the death of Tiffany Sanborn, one of the attending reporters. A gold necklace found at the murder scene starts Tabby on a search for the owner of the necklace and the killer. Tabby is already busy running her jelly shop, preparing for her own upcoming Halloween wedding, and helping Jen’s mom, Bea, who is running against Gladys Twittle for the office of mayor. She squeezes in her hunt for clues that will help solve the murder and restore happiness to the life of one of Whipper Will Junction’s residents.
