How differently would you live if you knew that life is not real, at least not in the sense that you believe it is? That you have been here many times before and will be many times again? Would you be less worried, take more chances, be kinder, perhaps? One thing is for sure; you would certainly have more fun living the life You have chosen. "Solacers, an Allegory of a Virtual Game of Life, Special Edition," tells the story of little Alireza, a six thousand-year-old soul reincarnated in 1960s Iran. The first child of a heartless father and a discarded mother, the boy is left on the streets to fend for himself following his parent's divorce. His lonely early years are an unbelievable tale of cruelty and betrayal by nearly everyone, save for one aunt and a penurious feeble old stranger who takes him in and shares her small adobe room with the boy. With ancient wisdom on his side and optimism in his heart, Alireza trudges through a harsh and solitary childhood as he learns to balance himself on thin ropes of hope through life's exquisite imbalances.
