Henry, Dorian, Fey, Melchior, Eldan, and George are on the run. Hiding out in a townhouse in Styria they hope to throw The Homerics off their trail. But there are new vampires in town and everyone seems to be keeping secrets. Amidst all the chaos Henry is still struggling with coming to terms with her feelings for Fey and Dorian and the fact that she may very well be madly in love with them. They may have crossed an ocean but their problems seem to have a way of catching up with them.
