I have a passion for words, whether reading, writing, or sharing the works of others. Ghost of Sangju: A Memoir of Reconciliation is my debut work. I’m also a contributor to the Lost Daughters blog, Dear Wonderful You: Letters to Adopted and Fostered Youth, and several anthologies currently in development. I was born in South Korea to a family that held me for 3 years, then I was adopted by an American family who raised me to adulthood. My Korean family found me in 2013 after many years of searching, and my two families met later that year. I am also a mother through both biology and adoption. I have a BS in Art, Philosophy, and Literature with a minor in Mechanical Engineering from West Point and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School. I served as an Army engineer and now lead an organization in corporate America. I live with my husband, Brett, and four children in Southern California.
