Tarnished Beginnings is book one and the prequel to the Soul Dance series. It's in the Gypsies After Dark Boxed set that releases on 6/20 and is available for preorder now. While it will add to your enjoyment of subsequent books in this series, it's not essential to understanding the storyline.
