The voyages of Admiral Kirk and the crew of the refitted Enterprise continue! After the events of THE MOTION PICTURE, the crew of the Enterprise embarks on their second five-year-missions. Among their missions they explore the curious inhabitants of the planet Agena IV, discover the ghostly remains of the first human transport subjects, fight barbarian battles and huge space monsters, and confront the Klingons, and a starship gone mad.
