Stefanie was born and raised in the dry, desert part of west Texas in the Midland/Odessa area and currently lives in the wet, piney woods part of Texas near Houston. The idea for her book was based off how disappointed she was after seeing the Twilight movie parody "Vampires Suck", and thought she could make something better. So during covid 10 years later, she did just that! She hopes that this book will give people the gift of laughter the same way the writing it gave her the gift of laughter when she was going through a very dark time while recovering from cancer treatments. She is currently working on finishing part 2 of her retelling of Twilight and hopes to publish it in 2025!
