Inspired by true events, Stink is an historical neo-noir crime thriller set in late 80s and early 90s South East London, where a web of corruption links police, criminals and the tabloids. It charts the rise and fall of dirty cop DS Bob Clark and his aromantic relationship with his partner Chris Drury, who will ultimately betray him. Stink is a dark journey through the unsentimental underbelly of South East London. A murky world of informants, bent cops, immoral journalists and vicious criminals. Mixing real life with invention it connects Acid House, armed robbers, the police, the freemasons, and the dark arts of the tabloids.
