I was the nerdy girl in class, I constantly had my head in a book unless I was hanging out with my best friend, Erik. Erik was cool and smoking hot. Every cheerleader was after him, because he was hot and in the football team. I was the lucky girl that got to hang out with him all the time, because our parents were best friends. One night, I decided that I had enough of pretending that I only wanted to be Erik’s friend. I wanted more. So, much more. He was everything that I dreamed of having in a man - funny, a great listener and we could be in a room and not have to say a word to each other. I was comfortable with him and I knew he felt the same. I plucked up the courage to tell him that I wanted to be more then friends. The problem was I wasn’t the only one with an announcement.
