Stephanie Bostic received a B.A. from Barnard College in 2006 and earned her Master’s degree from Tufts Friedman Graduate School of Nutrition Science and Policy in 2010. She has worked in nutrition research since 2007 and is currently a research assistant at Harvard School of Public Health. In her free time, she can be found gardening, cooking, and volunteering as a nutrition class instructor in her neighborhood. Comments from friends and family about the challenges of cooking for one, along with stories from women expressing a desire to cook something other a meat and two veg, inspired her to write her first cookbook, "One Bowl: Simple Healthy Recipes for One." More of her writing and recipes can be found at http://groundcherry.wordpress.com, and future cookbooks are currently being planned.
