A life-long resident of Marton (a district of Blackpool that was there before Blackpool), I finished my career as an application developer and was able to spend my time on other things. These include music, art and - of course - writing. My first published story is a short science fiction tale called The Blue Death that may be found within the Almond Press publication Apocalypse Chronicles. I enjoy writing in the fantasy genre, and supplement this with the odd poem (not too odd!) Since 2019 I have been writing short stories on a blog, set in a fantasy world populated by Sylvanian creatures. Over 100 stories (as at March 2023).
