Part of Series

Jack knew he’d get in trouble for helping the police rescue Amani from the crane, but the shark never dreamed part of his punishment would be working at Kinky Kritters. The job proves to be a safe haven from the members of his shiver who would just as soon torment him for turning on them as look at him. It’s tough to endure, but Jack hopes one day they’ll grow tired of picking on him and find a new target so he can go on with his life. Harold enjoys his work as a cop, alongside his partner Nero. When Nero starts spending more time at Kinky Kritters to be closer to Amani, it’s only natural that Harold follows along. He’s assigned to watch Jack as his punishment plays out. There’s something about the shark the hound finds interesting, and he decides to push a bit to try to find out what makes the shark tick. He’s surprised as he starts making a real connection with Jack.

Caitlin Ricci
Author · 130 books
Caitlin was fortunate growing up to be surrounded by family and teachers that encouraged her love of reading. She has always been a voracious reader and that love of the written word easily morphed into a passion for writing. If she isn't writing, she can usually be found studying as she works toward her counseling degree. She comes from a military family and the men and women of the armed forces are close to her heart. She also enjoys gardening and horseback riding in the Colorado Rockies where she calls home with her wonderful fiancé and their dog. Her belief that there is no one true path to happily ever after runs deeply through all of her stories.

A.J. Marcus grew up in Texas. He’s always had a fascination with cowboys, comic books and the great outdoors. He started writing in high school and at times spent more time writing than he did reading, and he’s a voracious reader. Maybe it was growing up in Texas, but his love of rugged men showed up even before he realized what was going on. He likes his men manly, hard, tough and caring, men with hearts, and other parts, as big as Texas. A.J. currently lives near Colorado Springs, Colorado with his loving partner and several horses. The men here are still men. Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/pages/AJ-Marc...
