Summer Nights is a coming-of-age story with historical fiction, told in the first person by 17-year-old Brooklyn native, Charlie Makefield. Traumatized by events of the previous summer; Charlie must navigate his personal demons, keeping the bond with his closest friends intact, and while on a whirlwind romance set across the backdrop of the Fourth of July Centennial Celebration of The Statue of Liberty in the summer of 86.
