We were warned. We didn’t listen. Then everything changed. After losing her brother to the violent conflict between the FBI and the Genoskwa, fearless reporter Patricia Murphy enlists a Special Agent, the only known survivor, to help her confirm the dark events that took him from her. Accompanied by a Police Beat reporter, a Native American hunter-tracker, and an ex British SFF field expert, she dives head first into the Catskills searching for answers and a verifiable way to break the horrific story that left the bones of a hundred men and women lying in the woods. Tempting fate, the five hike down the blood soaked path, into the darkened mountains where monstrous creatures lurk in the shadows, watching their every step. At great cost Patricia searches for unbiased facts, but the shocking truth she discovers pits her intrepid group between the military and the native beings that have dominated these woods for centuries. Nobody fights harder than when they are defending their home. Add a burning desire for survival and the battle becomes a war!
