When the Sun Sleeps
2020
Disappointed hopes and the kindness of a stranger.
Elizabeth Bennet is as content as a girl with a wounded heart can be. Mr. Bingley has returned to Jane with promising attentions, and all is well... except that no one knows what has become of Mr. Darcy. Shadowed by regrets of the past, Elizabeth means only to enjoy her tour of the Peaks with her aunt and uncle, declining a chance to view Pemberley. The party takes rooms at an inn, and Elizabeth discovers a very lonely gentleman has taken the room next to hers.
Fitzwilliam Darcy has lost nearly all the people dearest to him. Too late to save some, and too humbled to reach out to others, he does the only thing he can think of. He leaves all his memories behind for a time, uncertain if or when he will ever return. On his way to Scotland, he stops in an unfamiliar town for the night, and finds a friend in the faceless voice next door. If only their paths would cross in the daylight, so he could learn who she is!
As the nights pass, and casual exchanges become deep confidences, Darcy and Elizabeth each find their hearts aching for the one they lost. Elizabeth wishes with all her heart that she could see Mr. Darcy one more time, to let him know how her feelings have changed. The least she can do is advise this stranger in the next room not to give up hope on the woman he loves.
When Darcy at last decides to seek Elizabeth Bennet and ask one more time for her hand, will he accidentally be riding away from her, instead? Find out in this delicious, gently paced story of mistakes and redemption.
When The Sun Sleeps is a sweet Regency Novella of approximately 20,000 words.

Queen of Winter
A Pride and Prejudice Novella
2020
Winter is a curse, bringing nothing but cold and darkness.
Until he meets the Queen.
Elizabeth Bennet is at the end of her strength. A frantic search for her missing sister Lydia has led her into danger she could never have imagined. Alone, injured, and lost, she stumbles into a snowstorm and loses hope. And then she loses conciousness.
Fitzwilliam Darcy has finally found a chance to avenge himself on George Wickham. When word comes that Wickham is on his way to Gretna Green to elope, Darcy seizes the opportunity to follow him and bring him to justice. However, a storm from nowhere forces him to leave his carriage on the road and make his way to whatever shelter he can find. Along the way, almost hidden in the snow, he finds a woman more dead than alive. No one knows who she is, and most think she will not live through the night.
As Darcy fights to save his mystery woman and nurse her back to health, the possibility of catching Wickham is slipping through his fingers. With the roads impassable, Darcy's only hope is that Wickham is similarly delayed. All he can do is wait, and try to keep from going mad. He turns his attention to the woman under his care and finds a friend, a kindred spirit, and possibly something warmer and richer. With Elizabeth Bennet at his side, perhaps there is more to life than bleakness and duty.
When the roads clear, will they be able to find George Wickham in time to save Lydia Bennet and keep Darcy's family from disgrace? And will the heavy frost settle once more over Darcy's heart, or will hope melt the snow at last?
Queen of Winter is a clean, winter-themed Regency Novella of approximately 20,000 words, and is Book 2 of the Sweet Sentiments Series.

A Fine Mind
A Pride and Prejudice Novella (The Sweet Sentiments Series)
2021
He’d give anything to keep his sister safe.
Even his own future.
Georgiana Darcy sees the world differently. Gifted with a sensitive soul and a mind that feels what others miss, she is the misfit in an aristocratic family. She’s also the reason her brother, Fitzwilliam Darcy, lets few people into his heart.
Teaching her, guiding her, and pushing away those who would not understand her, Darcy has done all in his power to protect his sister. Is it enough? If he cannot convince his uncle, the earl, that Georgiana’s place is with him, he is in danger of losing her forever.
Darcy’s worst nightmare comes true when Georgiana stumbles—quite literally—into a guest at Pemberley. But, when that guest turns out to be Elizabeth Bennet, the only woman in the world he ever dreamed of having by his side, Darcy learns to hope that there may still be a way to have everything.
Can he persuade Elizabeth to give him another chance? Will they find a family and a love that endures all, hopes all, and never fails?
A Fine Mind is a sweet, novella-length, Regency variation of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.
