T.A. Keenleyside is a former journalist, Canadian diplomat, professor of international relations, and author of both fiction and non-fiction books. His most recent publication is "In A Spin," (Borealis Press of Ottawa, Ontario, 2015), a suspenseful, humorous and distinctively Canadian novel. In 2012, he published "At the Table, Nourishing Conversation and Food" with Penumbra Press of Newcastle, Ontario, a collection of stories that focused on the importance of dinnertime conversation. Prior to that he had two literary travel/recipe books released by Penumbra Press: "Roaming the Big Land: Flavours of Canada" (2010) and "Missing the Bus, Making the Connection: Tales and Tastes of Travel" (2008). Both were English Canada winners of Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in the categories of culinary travel and food literature. His novel, "The Common Touch" (Doubleday, 1977) was short-listed for the award for the best first novel by a Canadian in that year.
