Tawa is seventeen, in her final year of high school, and constantly wishes she were anything else but alive. She has one friend, undiagnosed ADHD, terrible grades, beaten-up mental health, zero self-confidence, and is constantly looking for something. When she douses a classmate in water and gives the new, anxious boy a confidence boost on his first day, she finds herself surrounded by friends all in the span of a week. What’s more, school is suddenly going great, and her grades are the best they’ve ever been. One of these, though, might just be a little too good to be true.
