Tamar Yoseloff’s collections are Sweetheart (Slow Dancer Press, 1998) which won the Aldeburgh Festival Prize for best first collection, Barnard’s Star (Enitharmon, 2004), Fetch (Salt, 2007), The City with Horns (Salt, 2011) and Formerly, a chapbook incorporating photographs by Vici MacDonald (Hercules Editions, 2012) which was shortlisted for the 2012 Ted Hughes Award. She is also the author of two collaborative editions with the artist Linda Karshan (Marks, Pratt Contemporary Editions, 2007 and Desire Paths, Gallerie Hein Elferink, 2012); and Nowheres, a book with the artist David Harker. She was the editor of A Room to Live In: A Kettle's Yard Anthology. She received an MPhil in Writing from the University of South Wales in 2004, and a PhD in Creative Writing from Aberystwyth University in 2010. In 2005, she was Writer in Residence and Visiting Fellow Commoner at Magdalene College, Cambridge. She lives in London, where she is a freelance tutor in creative writing. She has run a number of site-specific writing workshops and courses for galleries such as Kettle’s Yard, the Fitzwilliam Museum, the Hayward and the Royal Academy and explores the intersection between poetry and visual art on her blog Invective Against Swans: http://invectiveagainstswans.tumblr.com/. Her fifth collection, A Formula for Night: New and Selected Poems was published by Seren in October 2015.
