Audrey and Kennedy are popular teenagers living in Orlando, Florida, surrounded by friendships, high school parties, crushes and breakups, adventures, and quite frankly-a lot of humidity. When their parents take a much needed vacation to work on their marriage, the siblings are drawn back to an abandoned house that they broke into during a camping trip. Except this time, they are not there to engage in their typical antics. They are looking for clues about who might have kidnapped their baby brother Bentley. If it weren't for Audrey's weird time traveling, brought on by lightning storms, and Kennedy's vivid nightmares constantly haunting both of the siblings, they could get the police involved. But there would be too much to explain and very little reason to believe it. With suspicious neighbors spying on Audrey and Kennedy every time they turn their backs, they take it upon themselves to try to solve the mystery of what happened to Bentley. What do the kidnappers want, and is Bentley even alive?
