Change can be scary, especially when it's out of your control. New author and creator of Tale Wagger Stories, Tammy Kersey says anything can happen if you’re open to it. “I firmly believe we should always take advantage of the opportunities that life presents. My path to creating Tale Wagger Stories was completely unplanned and unexpected. I never even imagined writing a children’s story. But, one day I found myself unemployed and was launched into a period of rediscovery.” This gift of time led to a new children’s book, What the Dickens?!?!, and the launch of Tale Wagger Stories, the website that she hopes to grow and transform into an online inspirational resource for parents who seek to instill confidence and creativity in their children. Ms. Kersey’s first book, What the Dickens?!?!: The Tale of a Rascally Pup, introduces the adventurous character who will continue to develop on the website and in future books, drawing children into the story in imaginative ways that engage and inspire learning. Her second book, Golly-Oodle-Lolly!: One Fine Day with a Rascally Pup, is planned to launch on National Puppy Day, March 23, 2022, officially establishing the Rascally Pup Learns and Grows series. In addition to this new adventure into publishing, Tammy Kersey has worked as a marketing professional for most of her career and holds a degree in History from The College of William and Mary where she met her husband, Ian. They reside in Williamsburg, Virginia and enjoy visiting their two adult children, Andrew and Emily (with her new husband, also named Ian, and granddog Bea Arthur). The Tale Wagger Stories team includes two rascally pups, Mosby and Dickens (of course), who work hard to provide a source of daily inspiration and joy.
