Tarzan tracks his kidnapped mate Jane to Pal-ul-don ("Land of Men"). In this hidden valley in Zaire are dinosaurs and men with tails. Ta-den is a hairless white-skin Ho-don warrior. O-mat is a hairy black skin Waz-don chief of his tribe. Tarzan, captive, so impresses his captors, they name him Tarzan-Jad-Guru ("Tarzan the Terrible"). Free, Tarzan heads to the City of Light where Jane is kept. A second stranger follows, who wears only a loin cloth, carries an Enfield rifle, unused.
