Terence O’Leary was born in Chicago, Illinois, but has spent his teenage and adult life in Northwest Ohio. He is the author of a trilogy of critically acclaimed sports novels about teenagers facing a family crisis. He is also the author of the Irish Crossings Trilogy about the Potato Famine and the Coming of the Irish to America. Emmet and the Boy is his latest novel.
