Terrie Biggs has been writing creative-non fiction for years. "One of Eleven" was her first published work. She began "Some Trails Never End" in 1994 but put it aside to write two books and is working on two more. "Letters from Gil" is a collection of letters her great-grandfather wrote to his new bride during the Civil War, adding documentation on the historical events and people mentioned in the letters. She is also preparing to publish her family recipes called "Words of Wisdom and Culinary Delight," originally sent in a binder with her boys, who love to cook, when they left home for the first time. The recipes have often been requested by friends and family. "We are not gourmet cooks, but we love good tasting meals." Living a rich, young life in a military family, she resides in La Grande, Oregon, with her husband Dan, who she married in 1968. Their four children are adults and have blessed them with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Terrie has a lifetime passion for kitchen design and owns her own business.
