I am a retired computer consultant living just outside Belfast with my wife whom I married in 1975. We have seven children and because of one of them I am a Goodreads author. In 2012 my youngest son walked the Camino de Santiago and inspired me to do the same in 2013 and again in 2015. I hope to do it again one day soon. As a young man I always had two great ambitions. One, which all my friends and family knew about, was to travel widely. The other, which I kept secret, was to write a book. My dream of travelling led me to the Camino which led me to writing my book which I self published in the autumn of 2014.
