I live in Texas with my family and love to read and write. I have a special interest in how the family, as a social institution, shapes the attitudes, motivations, and goals of young people. Drawing on my own background in Sociology, I enjoy portraying complicated family dynamics and the catalysts that launch teenagers into adulthood. My hope is that readers, of all ages, will be entertained and encouraged by the main characters in my novels as they learn to define themselves, their relationships, set personal boundaries, and triumph over obstacles and limitations.
