The Trouble with a Small Town Cowboy
2023
_
The Texas Matchmakers of Mule Hollow are at it again! Love happens at its own pace and for Izzy and Luc, they’ve got singing angels helping the Matchmakin’ Posse—it’s literally a match made from heaven…
_ It’s been eight years since hairstylist Lacy Brown drove into town in her ancient pink Cadillac and set the town on the map. Now, she’s hired a new stylist, Izzy Cranberry, who is happy to be in the town that’s made history with its everlasting “Wives Wanted Campaign” that is still running even now. But she’s not looking, she’s just intrigued by her two sweet grandmothers who’ve followed the story of Mule Hollow from the beginning until they took their last breaths and left her to fulfill their dream of moving to the tiny town for them… Unable to disappoint them, she’s here—but not for long. Just to let her grams watch from above as she joins Lacy Brown Matlock in Heavenly Inspirations fixing hair—not being a match made by the Matchmakers of Mule Hollow. Styling is all she’s here for…and maybe a laugh or two from the legendary matchmakers who sit in her styling chair and think they have her on their target board. Horse trainer Luc Asher has taken a job in the town he’s heard a lot about but has no plan to be one of the “matches”. He’s a loner, with good reason, and as far from looking for love as a man can get. Making him the perfect target…at least that’s what Esther Mae, Norma Sue, and Adela, the town matchmakers, believe the moment he strides into Sam’s Diner looking as handsome and alone as a man shouldn’t be.
Let the fun begin in this new series set in the all-time favorite town of Mule Hollow, Texas, where the "Wives Wanted Campaign" lives on…

The Trouble with a Valentine’s Cowboy
2024
Dear Readers, This story comes for my own experience of the miracle God worked in my life in 2020 helping me overcome viral encephalitis when it attacked my brain and how my writing books helped me make a remarkable recovery. My heroine and hero are fictional but what she's lived through came from my personal experience and showing how God is so good...although I already knew that :)
Determined and recovering Lana Valentine is a walking, talking miracle who is still overcoming the left-over lingering odd effects of her brain illness. However, despite worry from her family she’s now determined to follow her dreams on her own terms.
Not,
shielded by the sweet but overprotective love she’s been wrapped in since a small spot in her brain almost stole her life. And so, in her beloved ancient jeep she’s set out on her own having accepted a part-time job in Mule Hollow, Texas. Promising her family she’s only taken a low stress job while continuing her writing—the gift from God that was helping her so far making a remarkable recovery.
She’s
not ready for her own love story, but is determined to finish the love story she’d started writing—the one that had helped give her new shot at life.
Love
—Jeb Denton isn’t looking for it yet. He’s from the famous Denton family singers in Branson, Missouri and like his cousin Ross, Jeb walked away from the show. Now, working on Ross’s ranch in this little town with the pink hair salon and other colorful buildings he’s liking his life—then he almost runs over the pink jeep at sunrise and meets the beautiful—slightly unusual Lana. And his life starts overturning—capsizing—toppling like the unusual fumbling way the new lady in town often speaks. The woman draws him like a mug—a
bug
in a rug and he’s all tangled up with everything about her. Fumbling words and all. Fumbling isn’t what the Matchmakin’ Posses does, they spot a possible match, zero in and now everyone can watch Jeb and Lana’s roller coaster ride to love…you’ll laugh and cheer as love happens in the most wonderful way.
