About The Collection The Absence of Knowledge is a collection of interconnected horror shorts that each build upon a larger fictional world. Every tale is self-contained, with no cliff-hangers or "next chapters." However, every short story also builds the lore of the AoK universe, and readers that follow all of the stories in chronological order will reveal a larger tale that spans dozens of short stories across several decades, from the reception of a strange radio signal, to the fall of humanity, and beyond.
