Prince Trevor Arcwin is everything a prince should handsome, tall, and adept at arms. Unfortunately, Trevor is not the king’s favorite and is tucked away in the Presidon army. He is disliked by more than his father and finds his life is at risk. Trevor Arcwin, now known as Des Boxster, takes his little group of Soldiers of Fortune across the border into Viksar. After taking a job finding a stolen statue, Des finds completing the task is more difficult than he expects as he must expand his group to find the perpetrators. In the process, Des gets involved in graft, kidnapping, and murder as his investigation takes him all the way to the summit of the city’s power structure.

Des Boxster and his group stop at the town of Redwitzel to help save the citizens from a mad magician who lives in the ancient Blue Tower. Unfortunately, the task becomes much more complicated that it first seems, and Des is suddenly embroiled in a political battle that reaches all the way to the capital and the secret seal of power of the country. Will his magical immunity finally reach a fatal limit? Des is about to find out.

Des Boxster finds himself in a strange land. Alone and without any support, he is given an impossible task by a tribal leader and that takes him to the capital. He becomes an unwilling participant in another civil war, and Des must navigate in a totally unfamiliar political climate while seeking out the secret that can add fire to the already hot situation.

Des Boxster changes his name back to Trevor Arcwin when he takes over the dukedom of Listenwell. He is summoned by the Head Seer of the church of Dryden and must travel to their headquarters. There he is appointed Dryden's Messenger, and so starts a campaign to eliminate those who would take over his world. Can he assemble the armies needed to defeat his enemy? He must put together a coalition of the affected nations, even though the enemy has infiltrated its minions into the very top of many countries. Trevor assembles old friends to fight new enemies in this last installment of The Adventures of Desolation Boxster.
