A young girl completes her task and is accepted into the secretive Assassins Guild. It is the first time a girl has been taken for many years. The girl completes her training and starts working in the guild, receiving orders from the king. Their kills help to keep order in the kingdom. Suddenly the king dies, and things are turned upside down. The new king decides to change everything; all the guild members must go into hiding for fear of execution. As the girl grows accustomed to a quiet life, things from her past come back to haunt her when she has to abandon her solitude and risk being found out to help a girl and soldier in need. It becomes necessary for the girl to pick up her sword and kill once more to protect her new friends in a world of danger, magic and secrets.
