So have you ever been to a party and saw the quirky kid who everybody likes? You know the guy who pretends he has a drink in his hand acting like he's drunk but when you taste the drink you find out that it's Kool-Aid. Well... that's James. The guy who says he's going home to watch the Auburn vs Alabama game, but really goes home to watch Grey's Anatomy. The guy who foolishly calls himself King James before falling into the fruit section at Wal-Mart. Well he is the guy who can laugh about anything. This adorkable creature writes to share his life, his dreams, and his obsession with japanese folklore. He is a graduate student (who the hell gave this guy a degree) and he tutors and writes in his free time. He enjoys 90's cartoons, fighting games, and he has recently discovered an amazing formula for happiness. It goes by the name nutella. He hopes to one day write a bestseller and build a time machine. -James L. Craig

When Mell Eight was in high school, she discovered dragons. Beautiful, wondrous creatures that took her on epic adventures both to faraway lands and on journeys of the heart. Mell wanted to create dragons of her own, so she put pen to paper. Mell Eight is now known for her own soaring dragons, as well as for other wonderful characters dancing across the pages of her books. While she mostly writes paranormal or fantasy stories, she has been seen exploring the real world once or twice. For more information on Mell’s stories and future writing plans, visit her website.

Annabelle Kitch used to think she was a normal girl. Then she found out ‘normal’ was a lie, threw her pretenses to the wind, and went streaking through life wearing the proud banner of ‘odd’. One of the only constants in this life was an unrelenting passion for storytelling, and she’s traveled the world (or worlds, if you count the ones in her head) in pursuit of this. As an avid fan of, well, everything, she naturally stumbled upon fanfiction. Therein she came upon slash and, after initially resisting, ultimately said ‘why not’. Depending on your point of view, it was all downhill or uphill from there. These days, Annabelle works a desk job, which is a pretty good cover for the nonsense that goes on in her head. Pretty soon, she’s going to strike it big, but for now the writing of passionate fiction will be relegated to evenings and weekends. And lunch breaks. And times when the work is slow and there’s nobody looking at her monitor.
The discovery at age five of her mother’s typewriter lurking the bowels of her basement inspired Julia’s first story, a moving, multi-chaptered, twelve-sentence masterpiece about a blood-thirsty blob. Since then, she’s gone on to write many vastly better spelled stories with much happier endings. Julia finds absolutely everything completely fascinating, which is why she spends most of her time in a classroom. Her greatest loves, apart from her husband, are language, music, and history, and she makes her living via a slightly ridiculous passel of jobs centered around the three. There are rumors that, in a prior life, she even dabbled in teaching high school math and chemistry amidst her Latin, Greek, and music history classes. Her students joke that she would like to achieve a doctorate in Everything, and they’re not far wrong. More of her writing can be found at her livejournal (username magistra17sum). She loves to hear from her readers, so please feel free leave a comment or question!
