A Short Story A young couple buy a chalet in the remote, mountainous region of Banff, Alberta. Eric and Tessa got a smoking deal on the property, paying less than half its value. But with a house that burns eternally, they wind up with more than they bargained for. A rat is found burned to a crisp in the oven. Their shoes melt to the floor. Fresh paint bubbles off the walls. When the couple's family reports them missing, Clayton, the local Mountie, pays a visit to check things out. What he finds on Tessa's video recorder, and in the oven, turns up the heat on Clayton's investigation. The Burning has a will to live that's insatiable. The only way to stop the house is to fight fire with fire.
