Outgrowth of the Brain
2013
You can find the alternate cover edition [here](https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25520316-outgrowth-of-the-brain).
Alf and Bert, the burly new security guards, are no match for professional thieves who break and enter the Cloud Brother's mansion. That is, until young Master Trevor adapts Alf's cranium. Although Alf, Bert, and Professor Maurice Masterson play minor roles in the Cloud Brother's lives, their characters are so interesting that I'm compelled to report what happens to them. Every so often, between the Cloud Brother's main events, I plan to release a short story. Here's the first, 'Outgrowth of the Brain', in which Alf and Bert find their new duties as private-security guards involves more than brute force and muscle.

White Noise

All he needs is a bit of persuading – and a yellow sponge. Alf, Bert, and Professor Maurice Masterson are minor characters from the 'Cloud Brothers' series. Nonetheless, their lives are so interesting that I feel compelled to recount their exploits. Every so often, between the Cloud Brother's major adventures, I plan to release a free short story. Here's the second, 'White Noise', in which Professor Maurice Masterson and his bodyguard, James, try to save the universe with a yellow sponge.

Litter Thugs
2013
What should we do with those louts who leave their litter behind them wherever they go? Would they think twice about disfiguring our environment if their rubbish automatically ended up between their bed sheets? Alf and Bert, the Cloud brother's two security guards, 'borrow' one of Trevor Cloud's half-finished experiments and start a revenge campaign against the litterbugs. Which would be fine, except human error and half-finished experiments make a poor combination… Alf, Bert, and Professor Maurice Masterson are minor characters from the 'Cloud Brothers' series. Nonetheless, their lives are so interesting that I feel compelled to recount their exploits. Every so often, between the Cloud Brother's major adventures, I plan to release a free short story. Here's the third, 'Litter Thugs', in which Alf and Bert take on the unlikely role of environmentalists.
