Lucas has been having weird dreams - that, and he can live vicariously through others, experiencing their lives first-handedly. This, perhaps, is why his dreams are so odd, with people he has never met, a place he has never been, and a ritual he has never heard of. After he meets the faces in his dreams, they are faced with a challenge that they must work together to overcome. This forces them to consider the existence of destiny - and what it was, exactly, that brought them together.
