Robert and Riley learn about feathered dinosaurs—first hand! While spending time with the cassowaries at Australia Zoo, Robert mentions to his best friend Riley that many dinosaurs were also feathered. Riley thinks he's joking until the two friends zip back to prehistoric Asia, where feathered dinosaurs such as the Oviraptor and Yutyrannus huali roamed the land. When they find an abandoned egg, the hunt is on to return it to its rightful owner.

Robert Irwin
Author · 7 books

Robert Irwin is the spitting image of his dad Steve Irwin. But whereas Steve gained notoriety as The Crocodile Hunter, Robert's moniker of choice is The Dinosaur Hunter, and his book series, the first of which features Australia's unique dinosaur heritage, tells you why. Robert is a chip off the old block, and with his cheeky grin and natural curiosity, he loves nothing more than catching lizards and skinks, learning about wildlife and the Australian bush, and hanging out with his much-loved sister, Bindi. His hobbies include mountain biking, palaeontology and photography. Like his mum and sister, Robert has also been quite the jetsetter and travelled all over the world attending special events like the Emmys and the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards as well as many trips to incredible natural locations to explore environments and wildlife around the world. Robert travelled to South Africa in 2009 for an exciting filming project, making his cameo appearance, alongside star sister Bindi in the full-length feature film Free Willy: Escape from Pirate's Cove. Both Wildlife Warriors, Bindi and Robert received the 'Biggest Greenies' award at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in 2009, dedicating it to their dad Steve and the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve (SIWR) in Cape York. This was topped off by their induction into the "Hall of Slime" in 2011.
