Most fairy tales include a dark figure. The wicked stepmother dressed all in black wearing her anger for all to see. I n my story she is dressed in innocence and fragility. Soft, gentle, sweet and loving, hiding her black heart beneath perfection. She came into the family and seduced three brothers. Then she married their father who sent them away. Now he is dead and the sons return to claim his throne - a mafia throne drenched in darkness but there are two people already there. Their stepmother and her brother and they won't give it up without a fight. The three brothers need three weapons to bring them down. It turns out that hate and pain can be defeated by love. Everyone has a weakness and the three brothers intend on using the weak for their own ends. Revenge, domination, control and power. Love doesn't come into it when you are fighting a war and the three women they have in their sights are about to discover how bloody war can be.
